Predicting the Big 12 Champion

TCU vs. Oklahoma at Oklahoma will be the conference's biggest game this season. They are likely to be rematched in the Championship.

Oklahoma won't be manhandled in the OL like Texas was, but the receivers will still have a hard time getting open and will go down the second they catch the ball. TCU will allow no cheap points or receivers running open.

If Bama doesn't have the country's best defense, TCU does. OU offense is consistently excellent, with great schemes, blocking and game breaking threats. While I think Baker Mayfield is overrated ... he is rated as the best player in college football from the analysts I follow. Should be a heck of a game.

Not ready to predict yet, because I'm not sure how good the TCU offense will fare. I expect less than 40 total points scored.

OU is more talented and deeper. TCU is better coached, although there seems to be some lapses in Cumbie's game from previous years. I expect the return of "Thrill Hill" with 3-4 turnovers.

The Conference Champion will be crowned after the Conference Championship game. I cannot see ou beating TCU twice so the real question is which game (if any) will TCU lose.

Should be a great game loaded with offensive and defensive standouts....and plays.

Which of these 2 teams can defeat SUPER SEC ALABAMA.....ALA will lose a game!

********Many talking heads continue to discount any thing that Texas defense has accomplished vs OU, OKSt, USC,....they held each of these well below their average production....instead they share only that Texas once again fail to perform on offense.....wonder if any of these guys could do better with the young products and injury situation Texas has been faced with all season...how much better would the Texas defensive averages be if it was not skewed by Maryland.
