How can you register your house in the name of "current owner" This preacher guy who lives near my parents has always seemed real "fishy" to me...this somewhat confirms something isnt right..I am guessing the church pays for his big house and swimming pool...any thoughts

An 11 year old house at less than $100 sq/ft. for less than the national median???? OHHH the horror.

Try barking up the tree of Hagee in San Antonio or Olsteen, etc.

lol its in baytown, what do you expect...but for baytown that is one of the higher dollar neighborhoods. Remember, Exxon and Chevron are right next door to these places...

the house was worth 250 before the crash....anyway this guy works as the head security officer for the school district, wife has never worked, and he has 3-4 kids...when I say preacher, he started his own church and it is one of these hispanic churchs...just seems fishy, for baytown standards definitely in the upper ranks....but how do you go about getting a house in the name "current owner" anyway

as a previous poster pointed out Baytown aint exactly Bee Caves so the home doenst seem out of range of someone with that job if he had a previous mortgage that recently sold.

Did he buy the home within past few years? maybe the baytown CAD listed the property that way due to inaccurate records. Its not as if the CAD is all that efficient.

As a lifelong Baytownian and someone who lives about half a mile from that house, ya'll back off.

Interesting info waldo....guess preacher man doesnt want his church people seeing what they are paying for when they pass the hat around.

Well because his lifestyle and income dont match. The people of the church probably would start asking questions if they knew...with 4 kids, two of them driving, one I presume in college, a wife that doesnt work, 5 vehicles, on a security gig and running a church..doesnt add up

Fair enough, but I don't necessarily think him choosing to not have his name and address posted on the Internet has anything to do with that.
