I have been visiting this site for years and this is by far the slowest time period I have ever seen on hornfans.
I was curious if anyone saw the hit Ben Wells put on Colt.
The following enthusiasm from the defense was encouraging, seeing this is an area I feel we have been lacking in since the 05 campaign.
This also is a positive note of the mentality of our coaching staff. If they are going to allow Colt to be hit like that one can only imagine the rest of the hitting going on.
True all this come from a four second highlight but it brings two levels of encouragement.
Just trying to get the conversations going on this board.
btw we also have a really good basketball and baseball team

stand in the gap, brian. keep bringing these reports

There isn't much else. I saw the hit on Colt on the news.
I attended maybe the first hour of the first open practice.
The biggest thing here was the first plaly of the first practice with the running backs. It was a quick hitting reverse. Certainly woke the crowd up early in the morning. It was great because it wasn't our status quo hokie trick play. It was more of a we are running a reverse now, and even if your backside end stays at home we are running his *** over on the way to the end zone.
Shipley was about as automatic as a receiver can be.
Colt is THE leader of the offense. Neither Chiles nor Harris threw well.
Major and Muschamp are some real deal coaches. Both were all over the place doing their share of encouraging as well as getting onto people. They didn't discriminate in either category.
