Practice games?

With the season starting next week, I was wondering if the Horns
have played both practice games and if anybody had a report that
they can share with the class?

Just curious if Curry of Davidson looks as good this year as last season?

I doubt you'll ever hear anything about these games... nothing official, anyway. All I ever heard about last year's game was that Texas whipped Davidson pretty good. No score, no details. And that was waaaay after the fact.

Yeah, I wonder if we did whip them, lol. Even with people keeping score, there's debate as to whether it's a whipping.

What I have read happens in these cases is that there is a game. After the game, there is "practice" in the sense that certain situations get worked on.

Andy Katz mentions the scrimmage with Davidson, but doesn't any real details. He also mentions the scrimmage with Gonzaga this weekend in Denver.

Can anyone refer me to the NCAA publication that contains the rules regarding such scrimmages? Last year, we heard zip about the scrimmage. This year, the McKillop seems to be saying quite a bit about different players' performances.

I know the teams can't keep score and can't have the public or press there, but are there other rules about the coaches making public comment?
