Potential Buyers for the Rangers

Interesting story in the Star Telegram this morning concerning buyers for the Rangers - The Link.

Nolan Ryan would become a minority owner in the first case. That would essentially keep the current organizational structure in place - and that would be terrific for the franchise! We need for this to move quickly, so the Rangers are in a position to make the needed off-season moves - trades, free agents, and long-term signings.

Time is of the essence here. They have to get something done before the end of the year to have any shot at making this team better to compete with the Angels next year. If they keep the status quo, they will have a similar year next year (just over .500 and just out of the playoffs).
