Portland Oregon

Heading up to Portland Oregon next week for the Oregon Brewer's Festival. Festival is being held at the Waterfront Park downtown. Can anyone suggest restaurants in the area we should try? Also what other attractions in the Portland area should we try to see? We'll have a day and a half for "touristy" things to do. The rest of the time we'll be concentrating on sampling the 85 craft beers that will be available for our consumption. Thanks!

Go east of town on the scenic highway to Columbia Gorge and Multnomah Falls. Check out Mt Hood.

Breakfast at Cadillac Cafe on Broadway.

Also recommend a beer at McMenamins Kennedy School. It's a 1915 schoolhouse turned into brewpub/restaurant - fascinating just for the architecture.
