'MONK" co-star Stanley Kamel was found dead in his LA home Tuesday. He was 65.

Kamel, who played Monk's (Tony Shalhoub) shrink, Dr. Charles Kroger, on the USA series, was discovered in his Hollywood Hills home by two friends, according to accesshollywood.com.

The cause of death was unknown.

damn, the shrink scenes were some of the best. "This is where it all...doesn't happen".

On an unrelated note, Monk and Psych are moving to NBC. This sucks. They had a good niche on USA, friday nights. Now they'll be jerked around on network cable, execs will interfere with the stories, and put on 4 different nights in 6 months, leading to cancellation in a year.

That's bad news about the shrink. I also have some of the same suspicions about the move from USA to NBC.
