Poor Colt

What do you expect when they lose because Dawson missed a 22 yard FG late in the game? The Browns played well enough to win and Colt had a good game, outplaying Bradford. It's the second game this season that they should have won which would give them a winning record and a shot at the playoffs.

wow! Colt's press conference following a loss is 10 + minutes and the head coaches is only 7 minutes? Colt is the face of the franchise!?

Amazing. If I'm Colt, I'm demanding some players. If I'm gonna be the face of the franchise, I want some blockers, running backs and receivers.

Reply showed the snap hit an offensive player's leg on the trajectory to the holder (guess that would be a blocker) wabbled toward the snap holder who just got it up, laces to the kicker....

This was a freak play, along the lines of the snap to Tony Romo that cost that playoff win.

Browns traded down in last year's draft. They could have had Julio Jones I believe and traded with Atlanta. They have a bunch of picks in this year's draft. They are a team that is rebuilding piece by piece. Look at what the Lions and 49ers have done. Everybody thought those 2 franchises were garbage a couple of years ago and now they are both really good teams with young QBs. I think Colt is at least better than Smith.

the media kept trying to corner him into calling out the playcalling, but he handled it like a champ.

the team around him is just awful right now. his best receiver is Greg Little, a 2nd round draft pick this year. their playcalling is ultraconservative and seems like the coaches don't have confidence in the passing game. They need to trust Colt a little more and his decision making

I've been saying this since 2002, but I think the Browns are one of those teams who could basically flip 2 or 3 position players with young stars and be a tough, playoff-contending team. I'm thinking one WR, one OT, and maybe a DB.

If I'm the Browns, I go heavy on offense in the draft. I would do whatever it takes to get Justin Blackmon. I think he could be just as good as Calvin Johnson and Andre Johnson. They also need a couple of running backs and shore up the O-line.

There was nothing wrong with the snap to Tony Romo in that playoff game. He just choked and mishandled it, this was nothing like that situation.

In both cases an easy short FG didn't happen and it wasn't the kicker's fault, I think that's what he was going for.

1) Chango is a Romo apologist.... Romo will never lead the Cowboys to a Super Bowl win, feel free to call me wrong if it happens.. but I just don't see it.

2) Blackmon isn't in the same physical class as Calvin or Andre but the dude can find a way to catch a ball and I'd love for Colt to have someone like him to throw to.

Might need to look for a RB too. Hillis when healthy was not performing like he did early last season, but of course he hasn't been healthy. There's just no offensive threats on that team...at all.
