Nebraska played a magnificent game, with terrific interior defense and a well-run offense that continuously caught A&M off guard with back door plays. They had a perfect game plan. A&M looked a little stunned. They never got into their offense, turned the ball over, took bad shots. Kelsey Bone was confused on defense and non existent on offense for long stretches. I've seen A&M play several times this year and they're a very good team, looking very good late in the season. This had to be one of their worst outings of the year. Credit Nebraska. They shot, passed and defended superbly.
No question A&M was caught off-guard and agree 100%...excellent game plan by Coach Yori. I don't think you would see the same result twice but that's the great (or not so great as the case may be) thing about the NCAA tournament. A team can prepare well and throw some surprises your way, and if you don't adjust quickly enough, it's over and out.
