Please let us know when Goestenkors posts pictures of their picnic at Zilker Park. Seems like having fun away from the court is a priority for her team.

It's not a fantasy. I simply cannot think of any possible reason why someone without an agenda would post the things you post.

Let's get this straight - someone posts a picture of a pool party and your response is that the coach should be having the players get better at basketball instead? Who says that? That's just bizarre. It's a completely illogical response.

It's like the people who see a picture of Bush or Obama, whichever guy isn't of their political party, jogging on a trail somewhere and their response is "Doesn't he have a country to run?" (And this is even less extreme of an example, because Bush/Obama don't have NCAA rules limiting the amount of time they can spend on certain presidential duties.) People who say things like that probably aren't really so dense as to believe that it's impossible to discharge the duties of the office of President unless one never ever goes jogging - they just have an agenda so blindingly obvious that sunglasses won't suffice and you'd have to don welding googles not to notice it.

You have an agenda to spin innocuous events that involve Gail as if they should be considered demerits against her. This isn't even opinion - it's a factual summary of what you have done numerous times in the past.
 
You're doing a great job, keep it up! You're support of mediocrity of the Texas WBB program led by Goestenkors is fantastic! Let's all be satisfied not competing for Championships and let the other rivals continue their qwests for Championships!

I hope Texas extends the contract of Goestenkors, including a hefty raise so that we can have fun in the pool during summers while playing basketball and just being content with whatever results we can get!

Seattle speaking as a coach, this looks great two for two different reasons. One, the team is bonding. Which leads to team chemistry. Two, it's important to have days like this with your team. If it's just Bball Bball Bball all the time then they tend to tune you out. Great move in my book, not because it's GG and tx, just a good move in general to let the kids enjoy themselves during the summer months in which your on court time is limited anyway.
 
Thanks for your insights as always UTFann. I did not intend to be a "total" j@rk about the fun part; this is year 5 of the Renaissance and Coach G does not get any more free passes or excuses for the lack of results that are inconsistent with her hire. This is no different than being on a performance improvement plan in the corporate world. It does not matter anymore what you did "yesterday", but rather what can you do for me "today", and WBB is no exception.

Texas fans don't deserve this 4th rate (even debatable) program in the Big XII.
