Polls making my head spin

Pretty amazing that the Electoral Map has shifted so dramatically in just a few short weeks.

Romney is either neck and neck or ahead in Ohio based on this morning's poll. He is now up in Colorado.

Can all of this be a result of just one debate performance or is there some flaw in the polling process?

Things are going to be this way for the next 4 weeks....back n forth. Very dynamic election, maybe the most unpredictable in my lifetime.

Team BHusseinO will have an Oct surprise, can't wait to see what it is (sarc)

don't forget this is the first time most of the 70 million got a chance to see Romeny beyond an edited 20 sec bite that MSM designed to make Mitt look bad.

he came across as knowledgeable confident and most of all Presidential
while BO came across as hesitant and disengaged
people could see for themselves instead of having to rely on media's opinion of the two.

There is a reason even Dems who were polled and asked thought Romney debated better.

I hope your analysis is correct Horn6721. It sounds perfectly reasonable to me actually. Romney has been packaged as a rich, elite, aloof and uncaring. Seems his debate performance called that depiction into question. I have a good friend who said "I didn't really care about Romney until the debate, now I am interested." My guess is that this particular friend will be voting for Romney now. I am not sure if he was going to vote for Obama or just not vote before. Of course, he lives in Texas so it doesn't really matter does it?
