I'm a little ignorant when it comes to baseball polls.

Can someone tell me which ones have more credibility? Are there some that mean more than others? Is there one that's 'official' or anything?

What do they use to seed the teams in Omaha?

I'm just curious how this system works.

There's 4 major polls, 5 if you want to include Rivals, but none official like the bcs or anything.

I tend to like the NCBWA the most.

Polls don't really play a big role in college baseball other than for bragging rights, but they still give you a good idea of the general college baseball landscape each season.

ATM might have a hard time haning on to their #3 ranking this week since they're already starting the week in a 1 game losing hole...

The Ags play 2 vs New Mexico, then head to Columbia for a 3 game set.

My guess is that they'll finish the week 3-3. I think Mizzou can win that series, especially Friday with Gipson on the mound.
