I'll take it. Highest team with 3 losses and in front of teams with less losses.

Behind Kansas 1 spot in the AP.

Now I know these polls aren't a direct "who is better" comparison, but really? When the difference between two teams is so little that there is one spot between them, and they just played head to head, you don't think maybe the winning team should be ahead?

I agree, especially as Kansas has not played the competition the Horns have.

Two things: The pollsters aren't ready to put a three loss team higher and the media spin (at least in Kansas) was that the Kansas team was emotionally affected by the family death and that put them on an emotional high in the first half that could not be sustained as many of their players were up until 4 AM Friday night.

My take is that without the emotional roller coaster we might not have spotted them such an early lead but we still would have won.

Shocking loss for Pitt on its home court to Notre Dame tonight. That Big East is sure looking salty.

3 losses vs 1, it does sort of make sense having them ahead of us.
