The University of Texas - burnt orange, actually the color of many a longhorn, as opposed to so many other mascot/colors.

OSU - a cowboy wears road crew orange?
Rockytop - a volunteer wears dayglo orange?

Ditto green and gold Baylor bears? TCU purple horned frogs which are actually horned lizards? Aggys are morons so maroon works for them.

And the Irish got it right, and the Red Raiders too. But a buckeye is a nut. It's not red and silver. A wolverine is not blue and maize.
