Poll: Will the Horns make the NCAA Tourney?

Call your shot now. No diatribe on how they are playing now or if you think they "suck" or crap like that. State your vote as to whether or not, tonight, you think they will go to the tourney, period.

This means that we will win more than we lose and likely have to do decent in the conference tourney.

Yes. We'll knock off either OU/Kansas and win the other games on our schedule. That will be enough. Loss in the first round is very likely, with almost no chance of making it past the round of 32.

It comes down to Saturday night. As of right this second, I think Texas is "bubble out". There were a lot of people watching last night as we got our asses handed to us by a 3-7 squad. Texas needs to summon something and beat OU, and the something to summon might include some vocal home support. Ou isn't the number one team in the land, but people think they are so let's play ball.

There is no such thing as "very ugly second round exit" for this year's team. I am comforted by both the sense of confidence exuded by Bob and others (even after last night's disappointing result) and by CNNSI article describing the bland resumes of virtually every bubble team. I still think we need 9-7 to get in, but I am feeling a win over OU (maybe it's the flu?), so I'll lean very, very slightly, to "yes".

RPI is 46th BEFORE the loss last night. The Horns will be cornholed by OU and KU. With the way things are going they may even lose to BU and OSU.

If they could somehow scrap out 4 wins in final five games and get one or two wins in Big XII tourney they would have a chance. However this team does not have that kind of testicular fortitude.

Yes the Horns will make the NCAA tourney. They will one game at the Big XII conference tourney. They will probably be a ten or eleven seed in the NCAA and lose in the first round but they will at least make it in.
