Yeah, we probably get in the CCG. I think the Tech result is the most likely flip, especially considering how we blew that one and what happened the last time Sam played in Lubbock.

I don't think there would have been any guarantees against TCU or KSU, however. I think Ewers played about as well in Manhattan as Sam would have. And Sam wasn't exactly known as a Horned Frog slayer.

I vote Yes. And I like the poll question. Random yes. But what’s it hurt? Nada.

Hats off to you Sam. Publicly, his life and career has more ups and downs than anyone I’ve ever witnessed.

As a player, I wish as a kid I knew how to play consistently as hard as he does. And I certainly hope I would have followed his lead.

Back to the question, he largely learned how to finish. Each of the last two years, we struggled to finish with much of that at the hands of the QB. So yeah he finishes enough to get us there. My biggest questions for him is system conversion, but I think he handles that adequately.
