I'd say my house since I make the best but that won't help you. If you are in Austin, try Green Mesquite at Lamar and Barton Springs. Theirs is great!

I've only been to Threadgill's twice and had bad eats both times. Maybe I will give it another go.

Didn't know Docs was kicking out good food. I'll keep that in mind as well.

I've been craving a CFS as well but was too lazy to find a place. I was actually going to get the new one from popeye's chicken, but i think i will try Threadgills as well

ok not really but it is ******* fantastic. and they have one of those old timey jukeboxes chock full of dwight yoakam and old country.

If you're going to Threadgill's, make sure your table has salt and pepper. Their cream gravy lacks, how shall I say this, FLAVOR.
