Plumbing work

I just recently had a plumber reconnect my garbage disposal and some of the plumbing due to a bent collar on the disposal. What is a realistic expectation on the bill for this work? I have a feeling I got the shaft.

Assuming it's an hour or less labor time and materials are minimal (< $50), I would expect about $100 - $150?

I paid $115 and was told by my BIL that was too much, I just needed to confirm. Thanks.

Yeah but your guy is likely bonded and has a guarantee with his work. If something goes wrong he comes back to fix it.

This would be in the area near the DFW airport:

What about extending gas to an all electric townhome. Atmos will provide teh service connection/meter 5' into the building line then my plumber needs to extend into teh house. I'm thinking about 1 1/4" service pipe then extending from that about 5 connections all totaling less than 80 to 90'?

range(oven and stovetop with 4 burners and a specialty burner)
gas dryer
gas water heater
two furnaces (upstairs and downstairs)(1850 sq foot of heating)

how about getting up on the roof of a two story house to place a hose into the vent to clear the vent of any bird nests, etc.

I talked to some "experts" how told me that is why I am now an expert at using the plunger. We use the plunger about every other day. After they asked me to describe the location of the toilets, both experts came to the same conclusion.

They told me I could do it myself, but I don't have a truck or a ladder. By the time I rent both of those, I would be around $100, so after the weather cools down to 90 or so, I'm calling a plumber.
