The one I bought at Walmart for $75 in 2001 has finally fell apart. I don't need anything really fancy, but I would like to get one a little better than the last one I had.

I'll probably be buying it at either Academy's, Lowe's, Home Depot or Walmart, so any suggestions on the store to buy from would be appreciated also.

If you want to grill and offset smoke I saw Char-Grillers on sale at HEB for $139.99 the other week.

I'd like to have one with a side table & the only Weber I'm finding like that is $299. And on the one I looked at like that this weekend, the lid was not attached. Can you attach them or am I supposed to just find a place to sit it while I'm cooking.

Here's a couple others that I'm considering:

The grill above is a Kingsford Charcoal grill & cost $149.

This is a Brinkman & cost $199.

Does anybody know about these grills?

They sell a bracket to deal with the lid on the webers. .

Their website does show the lid holder and a side table that mounts to the regular weber grill. They are listed under grill accessories. It looks like you could get a weber, the lid holder, the table and still be well under your 200 dollar budget.

The Weber Kettle is a classic. They don't sell that many without doing something right. However, here's my next charcoal grill. My folks bought one of these at some point around 1961 - it lasted about 35 years sitting out in the weather without a cover. I learned to grill on it and you can cook up some outstanding meals:

270 bucks. I'll bet you the difference that my old man didn't pay more than $30 for the one he bought back in the 60s. It's a cooking sumbitch though.
