Please, no TCU-Boise State game

I don't care it that would be two undefeated teams. Give me TCU and Boise State against other top ten teams, not against each other, so we can better gauge their abilities.

Here's hoping Cincy winds up against either TCU or Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl, Florida gets the other one in the Sugar Bowl, and the Orange Bowl has the second Big Televen team (or whoever) facing Georgia Tech.

That way, all the undefeated and one loss teams play each other, and TCU and Boise State play against BCS schools.

The bowls won't allow that to happen as it would be two small schools and bad ratings. They will pick games to set up TCU-BSU against big schools

Saw those projections last night and I agree with the OP. I think Fla vs either TCU or Boise St would be a much more entertaining game and better for the bowl games and viewing audience.

I dunno - if I'm the BCS PTB, I want them to play each other.

That way, I can say "See? Not one but TWO of the 'little guys' get to the BigAss Bowl!" And it's only coincidental that I reduce the chances of one of them upsetting a 'big guy' to 'zero, no chance at all' instead of 'not bad'. It would be bad for the status quo if even one of them upset a big guy (second year in a row?), but it would be a total disaster if they BOTH won.

As I understand things, the selection order went

Sugar (to replace losing #1 Alabama)
Fiesta (to replace losing #2 Texas)
Orange
Fiesta
Sugar

The last three being a predetermined order of selection.

The Fiesta Bowl could have had unbeaten TCU against unbeaten Cincinnati. #3 against #4. Two undefeated non BCS conference schools could have played an undefeated BCS conference champ and the team that was #1 all year until they lost their conference championship game.

But NNNNOOOOOOOO.

The Bowls SUCK. They SUCK, SUCK, SUCK!

Watch the BCS Championship Game. Ignore the rest. The future of college football depends on it.
