C'mon Goydos!!! Make Sergio cry yet again. It is what he does best, next to whine. I hope I did not jinx you.

Seriously, this should be fun. I am a big Tiger Woods fan but it is nice to see others get the spotlight, learn their stories and root for them. This is Goydos' first playoff ever. His first real sniff of a tourney this big.

Bummer. Sergio got lucky, oh well. Sergio can win when Tiger does not play.

It does not get any more money than Sergio's last two holes played. The play from a bad lie out of the rough on 18. The magnificent chip that he nearly holed. The par putt he had to have. The shot on 17 in the playoff that was just money.

Ha. Not saying he was not lucky. Did you see the replay? His eyes were closed. Closed. He summoned evil spirits and demons to will the ball where it needed to go. He has no skill other than the dark arts. Lucky.

Give credit where it is due. Sergio made a terrific par on 18 to position himself for the playoff. The wedge to set up the putt was a marvelous shot. And on the playoff hole, knowing he needed a good, safe shot to the island, he played it perfectly under very windy conditions.

I think I might be the only guy on hornfans who was hoping Sergio would finally win a big tourney.

1) It shuts up the media (if thats possible)
2) It shuts up Sergio (if thats possible)

I know we've heard it since 99 but if Sergio can at least start putting up fights on a regular basis it really does some good for the sport.
