So I planned a last minute 2.5 week trip to London, Munich, Paris, and Prague and need some advice on what to see in the city. I am leaving on Wednesday

If you have been to any of those cities post 2 or 3 of your favorite places, and what part of the city I should stay in.

I am interested in cathedrals, art museums, hot girls, awesome beer, and having a good time.

Appreciate it

In Paris go to the Buddah Bar. But go to dance not so much to eat.

Oh, and another thing, stay there...forever.

K, bai.

There are threads about London, Paris and Prague in this section already, so I won't rehash them. Never been to Munich so I'm not much help.

Paris:
- Musee d'Orsay & the Louvre for the must see's
- Pompidou Centre for modern art
- Rodin Museum on a nice day (walk through the garden and check out the sculptures)
- Notre Dame, St. Sulpice, Sacre Couer
- bars: Bar Hemingway (Ritz), Harry's New York Bar, Willi's Wine Bar, anywhere in St. Germain if you're young & want to hang out with other expats (FUBAR is a good one)
- stay in the Latin Quarter

Munich:
- Mike's Bike Tours was a lot of fun
- Hofbrauhaus & Augustiner Biergartens (you really can't go wrong at any of them though)
- Dachau Concentration Camp
- Neuschwanstein Castle

Like already said, you can't go wrong with any of the beer gardens in Munich. You should plan on spending one of your hung over days at the Englisher (sp) Garden. I did a walking tour of Munich as well, and it was money well spent (some of the people that do it work on tips only, but usually everyone pays)

As for Paris, I didn't go out much, but hit most of the touristy places, and enjoyed it. My favorite memory was sitting on the south lawn (i think the south side) of the Eiffel Tower at dusk getting shitfaced and watching the tower light up. Then catching the last train (5 minutes later we would have missed it) back to my hostel which was on the very north side of the city. It would have sucked balls if we would have missed it.
We also did the Royal Garden out in Versailles. I think you would enjoy that. It was about a 15 minute train ride out there. Actually there is a "Mexican food" place right when you get out of the train station in Versailles. The food sucked, but I would still recommend going there just because.

utexas 61,

I ate at that same Mexican food restaurant near Versailles about 14 years ago. My brother lived in Paris at the time and said it was the best Mexican food he could get in France. That's pretty sad considering the fajitas were mediocre at best.

When I lived in Paris, there was a Mexican place called Chi-Chi's in Montparnasse. It really wasn't that good, but it was great at the time. In London, you have the Texas Embassy.

When I went to Munich I took a general bus tour of the city. They are pretty easy to find. I would do that early on to get an ideas of where to go a spend more time later. I went to the Hoffbrau Haus as well as Augustiner. Both were great. I also made a trip to the German Alps to the Zugspitze, the highest point in Germany. If the sky is clear there is an awesome view there. You can also spend a lot of time just wondering around central Munich and have planty to see lke the old cathedral and the Glockenspiel. When you get tired there is always a good place to cool your heels and have a nice Bier.
