Got an email last week from the Moda Center here in Portland. Seems there will be a tournament November 23-26, 2017. The tournament will honor Phil Knight's 80th birthday. Sixteen teams have been invited: Texas, Arkansas, Butler, UConn, Duke, Florida, Georgetown, Gonzaga, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, oklahoma, Oregon, University of Portland, Portland State, and Stanford. Sounds like there will be two eight-team events running simultaneously in Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Each team will play three games. There will be two bracket champions. Already have my name on the presale list.
