Pitching

Hope I don't jinx us here, but this pitching staff has a chance to be really good!

Jungmann is a stud! Ruffin, Green & Dicharry are nails as well. The only thing I see us missing is the power closer. Not completely sold on Wood as the closer, but a backwards slower lefty coming in after these starters is definitely a nice change of pace.

I think it will be interesting to hit the road, especially this weekend. So far, these guys have been outstanding and we've caught the ball well also.

How could I forget Workman?!!! He is unreal today & has yet to give up a run this year.

6+ innings thus far today!

As though the pitching wasn't filthy enough already, now we get a No-hitter.

Our ERA REDUCED from 1.30 .. Just 10 runs in 9 games so far, given up by our pitching. Holy Crap.

I do not remember a 9 game stretch of such frugal pitching ever by Texas, whoever the opponents were.

Wish this were happening in the the post-season. Hopefully it is not too much too early! Stay grounded ..

Beats the alternative!

We've stumbled out of the blocks to much in recent years.

Being an English major who is mathematically challenged -- is the team ERA 1.30 or 1.15? i have seen both on here lately....

Being an accounting major who is grammatically challenged, the team ERA is 1.15.

10 earned runs divided by 78 innings picthed x 9 = 1.15

If you are an English major, there should not have been anything challenging there, right?

I said our ERA reduced FROM 1.30 (which was the ERA before the game .. I was just lazy to calculate the new number to see TO what it reduced). The post after that said that it was 1.15. That shows no conflict, right?.

Just saying ...
