I haven't seen the boxscore so I don't know who pitched, (i was at a work function and followed the updates on here)...but I am assuming our rotation sets up as follows?

Monday - Ruffin
Tuesday - Jungmann
Wednesday - Green on a full 5 days rest.

Green may be pushed ahead depending on Mondays results.

I don't think if we will see Green pushed ahead of Jungmann. He has been nails lately, Surprisingly Ruffin has looked like our #3.

Ruffin had a single bad outing. The time before that he threw a complete game. Not sure who to think will be the second starter. On the one hand, Green has been nails of late but he'd only had 3 days rest if he pitches on Tuesday. I also think Augie might use Jungmann in long relief if Ruffin gets into trouble early on Monday.

Thats very true. I would like to see Workman come in if Ruffin gets in trouble, but I don't think I have seen him since the Regionals.

I would like to see Jungmann start Game 2, (meaning Ruffin kills'em) and Green doesn't get to pitch again this year.

Well it went Green, Ruffin, Green the first 3 games. Wood and Jungmann have come in relief in 2 of the games. Jungmann threw nearly 6 innings in game 2 but should be fresh now.

I like the Ruffin, Jungmann, Green scenario. Use Wood in game 1 if you need to and save Taylor. However if Texas loses game 1 then I think you move Green up to starter in game 2.

We may see a lot of Austin Wood and Keith Shinaberry in this series. LSU's best bats are lefty, and they have not done well against left-handed pitching. They are killing righties though. My guess is Ruffin, Jungmann, and Green will all be on a short leash.
