Picture Help

I got some disposable cameras developed today and on one of them, the majority of the pics didn't come out. However, on the negatives you can see images. Is there anyway to get the pics to come out? I went to Walgreens to have them developed. Should I try a more camera specific place?

Airport security xrays shouldn't be a problem these days unless it's very high speed film.

what do you mean by the pictures didn't come out? if they're just black and there's an image on the negative then it's obvious pimple face wasn't paying attention to the photo lab. if it's that they have messed up colors etc., then the negatives are bad, and there aren't tons of options. you could pay someone at holland photo on S. Lamar to try to fix 'em on photoshop or custom print them at a huge cost. if you need anything else, or recommendation on photo labs, pm me.

also i'm pretty sure there are one or two pictures of girls kissing on the internet somewhere.

When I said that the pictures didn't come out, I meant that it's just black. The four that did come out are very grainy and I know I had plenty of light when I took them/ was close enough to the subject for the flash to work properly. The lady mentioned heat exposure, which could be it. I belive I took a few shots while in Greece with this camera and I usually kept it in my backpack all the time when we were talking around. The sun is out all the time and I am sure it was magnified in my bag since it was black. Other than that, I don't know what happened. There are images on the negatives, but for whatever reason, they didn't print out.....the machine didn't pick anything up. I think I am going to try some specific camera store. I am in Houston, fyi so if you, i.e. twid, no any places in Houston, let me know. Thanks gang.

i don't know any good photo labs in houston, but i have always done business with holland photo here in austin, as they are generally considered one of the better labs in the country, particularly in the area of custom printing. they do work by mail, but they are not cheap. if there is actually something wrong with the negatives, they'll have to either fix it digitally or hand print the images ot the best of their ability. either way, you have to pay some money per hour for the work they do. you should go to their website, www.hollandphoto.com and check them out, but before you do that, you should check out some of the labs in houston, but avoid any of the chain places like wolf or ritz, they're no better than your local grocery store, and are usually more expensive.
