9/06 Troy 8:00 PM
9/13 North Texas 8:00 PM
9/20 @ Auburn TBA
9/27 Mississippi State TBA
10/11 @ Florida TBA
10/18 @ South Carolina TBA
10/25 Georgia 11:00 AM
11/01 Tulane 8:00 PM
11/08 Alabama TBA
11/22 Mississippi TBA
11/29 @ Arkansas TBA

My thoughts: 8-4. 3 losses to @ Auburn, @ Florida, Georgia and a possible loss @ South Carolina, Bama or Ole Miss. This LSU team is young, 2009 they will be favorites for the whole enchilada.

Clemson

8/30 Alabama 8:00 PM
9/06 Citadel 3:30 PM
9/13 North Carolina State 12:00 PM
9/20 South Carolina State TBA
9/27 Maryland TBA
10/09 @ Wake Forest 7:30 PM
10/18 Georgia Tech TBA
11/01 @ Boston College TBA
11/08 @ Florida State TBA
11/15 Duke TBA
11/22 @ Virginia TBA
11/29 South Carolina TBA

My thoughts: 10-2. 2 Losses come from @ Wake Forest, @ BC, @ Free Shoes, or South Carolina Maryland is getting very little respect preseason, but they have a bunch of returning starters on offense.

BYU

8/30 Northern Iowa 6:00 PM
9/06 @ Washington 3:00 PM
9/13 UCLA 3:30 PM
9/20 Wyoming 3:00 PM
10/03 @ Utah State 8:00 PM
10/11 New Mexico 6:00 PM
10/16 @ TCU 8:00 PM
10/25 UNLV 2:00 PM
11/01 @ Colorado State 6:00 PM
11/08 San Diego State 2:00 PM
11/15 @ Air Force 3:30 PM
11/22 @ Utah 6:00 PM

11 - 1. Loss to either UCLA or a Utah team that overachieved last year despite having massive injuries. BYU has a great schedule in having their biggest games at home. @ Washington might give them a good scare though.

I believe Washington will have a pretty good season. THat QB is a total bad ***.

Anybody have any thoughts on LSU, Clemson, or BYU? I know it's offseason, but I cant think about anything else but football right now. Please help a fellow Hornfan out here dudes! Give me some input.

I think LSU loses at least two (@AU, @UF). I definitely don't see 4. UGA is tricky coming off of back to back road games. OM would be tricky, but they have that idle week right before it.

The rest they should handle.

The Mountain West Conference champion will be decided when BYU goes to Utah and I think the Utes win it. They are currently a 3.5pt dog for their game at The Big House and it wouldn't surprise me to see them go in there and win that game.

Your LSU pick is about right. Maybe even 7-5. We have no quarterback, cornerback, punt/punt return experience.
You can't win 9 games in this or any other BCS conference being one dimensional. A green qb is going to struggle with teams like Auburn, UF, & UGA. South Carolina could very well be the '07 UK game all over. I expect Bama to present loads of problems. Saban is a master at disguising and bringing blitzes from everywhere. We had a better team last year & were very close to being 7-5. It's likely this year.

I believe Playboy has BYU losing 2 games but being ranked lower than Utah, who they have losing 3 games. Interesting, I guess they are assuming that the Utes beat BYU as well.

What is the Big House and BYU? I thought Michigan's stadium was the big house?
