I go to Tam Cafe and Pho Cung Lee here off 183. Best Phu in town. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

pho cong ly is renamed, and it's not really as good as before.

tam cafe is still good, though.

kim phung sucks, and it's not cheaper than everywhere else.

sadly, the vietnamese and chinese fare in austin is lacking but tam deli and cafe is still really good.

Tan Tan is pretty good. Also, that place off of burnet road west of mopac.. but you have to go when the broth has been sitting around for a while to get the full flavor.

The one on Sixth Street is pretty good, it was a Cong Ly but changed its name, Mekong something. 888 on Oltorf, just behind Wan Fu is pretty good for sure. Their Egg Foo Yung is awesome. Give them a shot if you have not in the past.

i dont really like that stuff, but if i had to eat it....id goto 888. i dont eat vietnamese food often in austin, but in beaumont..i always goto L&T
