Photograpghers/Portrait Studios?

Well, it's about potrait time again for me and Mrs Whitewater. Can anyone recommend a good portrait studio or photographer? Price isn't really an object, but we're not looking for anything too terribly fancy, just something with a little better quality than something like Wal Mart or JC Penney.
