Phillies trade Lee?

See, this is why I have a hard time staying loyal to any Major League team. Why do you trade the guy who just pitched one of the best World Series games in recent memory? I know Halladay is a stud, but I doubt he does what Lee did to the Yankees.

in the past two seasons he's 8-3 in games started vs the Yankees.

Pretty simple reason for the trade - Haliday willing to sign a long-term deal, Lee making noise about going free agent after next season.

As a M's fan I have to say I like this trade. If Bedard stays (gets healthy and decides to pitch more than 5 innings per game) then you have Hernandez, Lee, and Bedard for a starting 3. That's just plain freaking allsome.

It will be stupid not to make the trade. Now you have a stud locked up for years instead of worrying about free agency.

Lee was the problem, he was the one not wanting to be loyal.
