You can tell he's a savvy vet too, because immediately instead of celebrating, he started telling his teammates to get off the field and pay attention to the fact that there was still a second left on the clock.

I still remember that. It was only my second game to attend in person, and he had missed a pair of 50+ yarders earlier in the game, so I didn't think he was going to make it. I surprised we weren't throwing a hail mary instead given how stiff the breeze was. Glad we didn't.

I remember that, only I was listening to the game on the radio while driving Loop 610 in Houston. Lucky I didn't have an accident (fists were punching the roof in exultation. Not smart)
