Hopefully, it will work as well as it did with Nneka.

Never really a fan of allowing these players to committ 3 years in advance. If her parents felt that she was to youg to make that decision, then they should have never allowed her to committ in the first place!

It's not Peyton's fault. She's young, and entitled to reopening herself back to recruiting.

If she comes to Texas, great. If not, that's OK as well. Just hope it's not a Big XII rival.

Decommits are nothing new in this day and age. Unfortunately, it puts the coaching staff at a disadvantage as they may have stopped recruiting other players (of a simillar skill set) as they figured the slot had been filled.

There is plenty of time for the staff to consider others. Peyton is in the class of 2012, not 2011. Besides, she is still considering us.

Hopefully Peyton just wants to enjoy all the attention she's getting, visit a few places, but still sign with the Horns this fall. Can't really blame a kid for getting confused due to extra attention.

Hope she makes her way back to the good guys.

At any rate, good luck to Peyton!

hopefully, she will talk to some coaches, maybe have some official visits and then recommitt to where she has said she always wanted to play at.

Looks like fans for OU and especially Tech want Little. Hope she ends up ultimately commitng back with the Horns.

"Looks like fans for OU and especially Tech want Little."

Everyone wants Peyton, no surprise here. She will make her visits and decide where she feels most comfortable. That is what I would want my children to do. She is a GREAT young lady from a GREAT family. We will have our shot and that is all we can ask. Her dad played at Tech, her uncles at OU and Baylor. I suspect all will get a look, along with A&M. Those are all good programs. I'm quite biased, but I think Texas offers the best combination of education and program! Hard to beat Austin as well! Keep a good thought folks!

Had year 4 of the "Coach G Renaissance" not been "average", Little would still be committed with the Horns. It really does look like she might commit to an established power that would provide her opportunities to play on a Championship team. Based on her recent visit to OU, it appears Peyton came away very impressed.

WOW!! I wish you the best Peyton! I sure hope we don't let this TX talent slip away!!

Seattle you do realize that based on Peyton's own comments had it not been for coach G she wouldn't even be considering Texas. She would be headed to duke to play for her without a doubt.

According to Peyton when she first committed, the combination of Texas and Coach G put in one place the coach she really admired and the school she really wanted to go to.

Now, she has really blossomed and one can't deny that she has a lot of other interesting and maybe compelling avenues to consider. She wants to play on a national stage. Does she want to help Texas reach that stage or does she want to be part of maintaining another school there?

She has a lot to consider before signing day. And, having observed her in the Texas camp last year, I have no doubts that she will have fun at every school she visits and will make a great impression on that team and coaching staff. Plus, she is an outstanding player.

Now, having said all that, I really want her to recommitt to Texas after looking around at all the others. Time will tell what her decision will end up being.

just got to thinking that Peyton is looking at visiting UConn. Making a decision in early July, would she have time to make a visit before making her decision? Probably not an official one.

Saw someone post on another board that she is concerned that Coach G may not stay at Texas. I have no idea if that is true, and there was no source provided. But, I think I will call this the Seattle Effect.

per her twitter posted on the OU board, Peyton is visiting A&M this weekend for the second time.

Reading the boards of A&M, Baylor, UConn, OU, who seem to be the main schools after her besides Texas, aggy and husky fans seem to feel that they have better players that they are in the hunt for and Peyton is only a backup plan.

Peyton would make a bigger difference at Texas, Tech and maybe OU than at the others. Just a matter of which school she feels best meets her expectations for what she plans to accomplish in college.

Seattle, you sure aren't helping promote UT to potential recruits by your constant bashing of Coach G. She really must have done something awful to you in a past life.
