Pet Shipping Services?

I'm starting to make arrangements to move from Austin to New Zealand and was wondering if anyone can recommend a good pet shipping company. I have a border collie I can't bear to leave behind. Thanks.

I don't know any specifics about pet shipment companies, but some airlines will let you fly your dog down in cargo on your airplane. I'm not sure it's allowed for overseas travel since the flight is so long, though.

I did look up all the restrictions for bringing animals into NZ for you. I know that process alone is a pain in the ***, not including actually getting the dog over.

Thanks, I had investigated the NZ requirements and decided that using a service is the best option. They will walk you through the process and make sure all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed as well as arranging for quarantine boarding. If you mess up, the quarantine goes from 30 days to up to 6 months so I want to make sure things are done correctly the first time.

I hate to hire one without a reference, I really, really love my dog and am willing to pay to make sure she is well looked after.

I hear that Bad Newz Kennels ships dogs between states. They may offer international services as well.
