Pest Control in San Antonio

I've got a 13 year old house in north San Antonio that backs up to a vacant lot, critters are starting to make their way into the house. I've used pest control people at other locations with limited results, I need one that will do a good job. Mostly concerned with roaches (not very many but the few I've seen are the size of Buicks), scorpions (I see one or two every few years), wasps and fire ants.

The stuff I've bought at Home Depot is just about worthless. It'll kill em when you spray it directly on the pest but doesn't keep them out.

Anybody able to recommend someone?

I see maybe 1 or 2 roaches a year. Boric acid is your friend. Spread it around the garage, under sinks, behind the washer dryer etc. They walk through it and take it back to their nests and kill the rest. Give that a try and if that doesn't help I used Stout pest control but that is mostly for termites.

I've used Home Team Pest Defense ever since I saw two scorpions in my house last summer (one stung my puppy).

Have not seen one scorpion or other critter since.

I've also used Home Team Pest on my previous house, and they did a good job. Now I use Stout Pest and am also happy with them. Both will come & spray quarterly. If you still have problems (like I did way outside the city limits), you will need to supplement yourself by spraying the doorways & windows once a month.
