Was thinking about this while helping my brother prepare his daughters's graduation celebration. He has a cool Apache pickup he calls Red Rum. A buddy has old Chevy he calls the Green Hornet. I have a ukulele I named Yolanda. What you got?

I had a yellow '57 Ford pickup I called The Canary, or on days when the carburetor was uncooperative a f...ing old rebuilt dodge.

A friend named his 15-year-old Oldsmobile The Edmund Fitzgerald "because it's a boat and it's going down..."

Yes, damn the off season but it does spark some fun threads like this...

Nice topic LC. BTW, you need a name for your bongos!

Back in my college days my brother drove a yellow Capri. I remembered in the movie 'American Graffiti' that right before they had a drag race, Harrison Ford told John Milner his hot rod was 'piss yellow'. So I always referred to my brothers car as a 'piss yellow Capri' ... it annoyed him, so I took pleasure from that.

A number of years ago, a former co-worker friend inherited a 1986 Cadillac Sedan DeVille (4 door) from his grandmother when she passed away. It was medium metallic blue, white vinyl half roof, wire rim wheels with white side wall tires. He named it 'Lucille' and that was a PERFECT name for that car.
