Perry Critics See Solyndra Similarities

To me this is all politics as usual. I am more concerned about President Obama's connections with Wall Street than I am with this much weaker connection. Perry probably won't be tied down to Wall Street initially but has shown ties to large corporations in the past and this has likely influenced his decisions/actions.

That you don't care about Obama flushing away a half-billion dollars on a company that was previously shown to be unsound by government regulators says a lot about our current political system.

indeed this. and this is why we should do away with any corporations ability to donate or provide any benefits to any politician on any level.

Both parties are full of life sucking leaches. They all eventually become crooks and liars.

One person, One vote. $1000 donation limit per person.

Why in the hell would anyone criticise a Governor of a state for supporting large corporations in that state? Of course you cater to them. You want them to stay. They provide jobs and taxes. It would be grounds for impeachment if a governor didn't have strong ties to the large corps in his state. For the record I don't like perry.

President is a little different story. he is supposed to look out for everyone. I actually have no problem with the fast tracking of the loan process for Solyndra, this happens a lot. The bad would be if at any point the loan was to be turned down for financial reasons and then the admin made it anyway. Hard to tell at this point.

As for political friends as the investors, come on. Rich people with investment funds are going to be political and contribute to politicians. Prove an impropriety first, but just because an investor gave BO money is not bad at all or unusual.
