It is a fact that at 5:15 this morning, LSU started a week of grueling workouts that are designed to separate the men from the boys. Not shocked that Perrilloux would choose today to quit.

Ryan's father dead 1-2 weeks ago and he missed 1 team meeting and a few classes.

RP may have missed more classes and the team meeting than Les would have liked.

He will be back, baring him doing something really dumb.

I have a feeling LSU will punish RP about as strictly as FSU is punishing itself for cheating on academics. Nothing that matters too much. Spring ball and maybe the powder puffs at the beginning of the schedule. Damn sure they won't sit anyone out for conference play

Let's see, would I rather have Colt McCoy or Ryan Perrilloux leading a team?

I think all would agree Texas came out ahead on that deal.

OTOH, the double standard appears alive and well. LSU's arrest record stacks up pretty well against some others I can think of. But miss a meeting and a couple of classes ...
