Pedernales raising rates

Wow those rates are super low. Or more than likely, our rates are super high. I'm in Dallas with Dynowatt as the provider. (We switched to them a few years ago because they were cheaper than TXU.) Dynowatt is currently charging 24.9 cents per KWH. (month to month plan) My bill last month was outrageous. Anyway, we locked in with them for 12 months at a much lower rate (14.9 cents/KWH) right after we got that bill. Still high compared to Austin it appears.

I'm a PEC customer so that sticks to hear, but in Houston from TXU I was paying 11.5 cents and that was two years ago!! Its still a good deal.

So it looks like City of Austin is $0.0355 per kWhfor 1st 500 kWh and $0.0782 per kWh after that.

What type of co-op is this? Looks like City of Austin is alot cheaper.

And $6 fee not $20 for PEC.

Not included in your CoA rates you quoted is the Fuel Adjustment Charge, which currently is 3.653c/kWh if you are on the regular program.

This sucks to hear. I have two "large power" meters. I have $525/mo fee on each meter, plus .088/kwh. Go ahead and add on another 10%, who the **** cares.

We are paying .0355 for 1st 500 Kwh, .0782 per kwh after that plus .017 per kwh for using GreenChoice. Don't know exactly what that entails, ask my wife.

Also, monthly service charge is $6.

I guess one thing the greenchoice program does is we don't pay the fuel adjustment charge referenced above.

I'm not sure what the exact austin green choice rate is, I know its a little higher but when I joined it I locked that rate for 5 or 15 years

The current charge for Green Choice is 5.5c/kWh, so it's a little less than 2c/kWh higher than standard. It is locked until 2022.
