Paul Pierce: 'I'm the best player.' (In the world)

i think paul pierce has been pretty damn good on a ****** team. he can claim best player as much as anyone else. there is no best player, and he knows that. you're missing his point.
 
I absolutely detest Kiobe, but I have to admit he is the best player in the league. He can score whenever he wants. I never thought I'd see someone on par with Jordan, but he's real close.
 
I meant Lebron was better than Paul Pierce.


Indisputable, Kobe is not as good as Jordan was, right now. One day, maybe.
 
Kobe is not even close to Jordan. It's been rehashed over and over. Statistics as well as intangibles. It's not close.

Back to the subject material, Pierce is a better defender than Kobe, but Kobe is a better offensive player. And Pierce is easily the best player on the Celtics. Did you even watch the Finals? Garnett is damn good, but he disappeared in the Finals at times.
 
My history may be fuzzy, but didn't' Garnett take the Wolves to the Western Finals awhile back? While Pierce was barely able to make the playoffs in the Eastern Conference?
 
Maybe no one watches the NBA anymore.

I stopped watching when the NBA refs handed Miami the championship a few years ago. D'w'a'y'n'e W'ade driving to the basket, throwing an elbow into the gut of an absolutely stationary Dirk Nowitzki and then receiving the call for being fouled ended the NBA for me.

Yeah D'w'a'y'n'e!! You are great. You can play like a ******* chump and be given every call in the book. Even when you should have fouled out in the 2nd quarter. Yeah! You rock.

Do people really still watch the NBA finals? I don't live in the USA anymore, but we still get the games live. But I sure as hell didn't watch that crap and I don't know of anyone else her who did either. (Ginobli fans from here OR American fans.)

Kobe may not ever be as great as Jordan, but offensively I think he's actually better. He's a better shooter and can hit a wider array of shots. As far as winning goes I don't think he'll ever come close to Jordan.
