patterson

He was always going to be a rental here. I'm not upset or surprised to see him get back into the HC ranks.

I think PK kind of has a better grasp on what we need to do scheme-wise considering where we were 12 months ago, and I think a lot of that comes from the advice GP gave to him, the assistants, and the players. We had two botched defensive plays on Saturday that resulted in TCU's only TDs, and I argue they probably wouldn't have happened if we weren't tired and getting out-possessed 2:1.

If GP left tonight, the results for the remainder of 2022 are probably the same.

I hope he stays and will always think we missed the boat with not hiring him as head coach years ago. But I guess i am not as smart as the others, afterall, they hired Smart,Herman and Sark.

And when Patterson was on the market we had some guy named Mack.

I say we lose to Kansas and beat bailor

If Patterson wants to be a head coach again, he could do much better than Nebraska. I just hope he does not end up in the SEC unless it is for us.

Coach speak 101: Anyone know a good realtor in Lincoln?

I take him for his word. He didn't say he wasn't going to take the job and he didn't say he wouldn't be in Lincoln this weekend. He said he was going to finish the job here. He can help with the Kansas game, fly to Lincoln after our game to visit them, finish the season and accept the position anytime from now until then.

He’d be crazy to take that job considering this job will be open soon.
Neb—-They are now undersized for the Big 10, they can’t recruit Texas anymore, Cold and bleak as hell, fans still living in the Osborne era of steroids, state walk on program, and getting top coastal African Americans.

If Rhule can turn the Huskers into winners, I might just start giving some credence to Baylor's claim that he didn't use the bridge to cross the Brazos.

If N can get Rhule, that would be a coup for them. Patterson would probably also build them into a contender in the Big 10 West--a division without a dominant team (or two dominant teams like Mich, aOSU). I don't see anyone other than Urban (who almost certainly won't go there) returning the Huskers to their glory days though. The reasons have been mentioned by other posters upthread.

Also looks like we almost lost Choice again. Appearently he was offered (again) by the Rams to do the same job in LA.
