What is the deal, did his arm fall off after the first game of the season??? Against ECU they had like 74 yards through the air, tonight less than 50 so far, but in their first game they had like 250!! I know these are better opponents but you don't expect that kind of drop off. Did I miss his Tommy John (sp?)surgery or what?!?!

He doesn't throw the ball very well. Thats the reason. He is a running back playing QB. The way they get yds through the air is short passes and long runs.

The past two years ESPN announcers etc. have spilled over his arm and how he played baseball. It's amazing how losing schmidt and slaton suddenly turned this strong southpaw former baseball player that can also run like the wind qb into a run like the wind rb playing qb. I don't know if its just the talent, being completely overrated as a passer, or the short routes mentioned earlier, but he is just not a threat passing and doesn't look to be in the future.
