Just saw him down here, and I have to say that I was really impressed. He played a lot of old stuff, including Carry On, Here We Go, Take Me Out to the Dancehall, Three Days, Texas On My Mind, Southbound 35, Me and Billy the Kid (a personal favorite), and closed with Songs About Texas.

I don't know any of the new stuff, but he kept it to a minimum and put on a really good show. If you get the chance, go catch a show (probably best to do it in Texas if you like the older stuff).

I've seen PG 4 or 5 times... last time I saw him was in Seattle and he was so drunk he could barely stand up. If I know that he's going to be that trashed on stage I'd rather not go. When he's sober he does put on a great show.

I've seen him twice. Somehow, he managed to get the city name wrong when he did the "it's great to be here in ______ tonight" cheap applause bit both times I saw him.
