Parking meters should be illegal. No citizen should ever have to pay for parking on a public street.

Rescind the outrageous pay and benefits union contracts for Austin fire, police and EMTs (to far over-reward them for their campaign contributions and electioneering work for current city council members) and this poor excuse for a city council wouldn't need to nickle and dime us to death.
