But I'm very unclear about the scope of the title, since the following day they say Kyrie Irving is the State Player of the Year, and the schools aren't that far apart.

Please help clear something up for me. I thought Kabongo was re-thinking his committment to UT a while back because of second thoughts of staying closer to home. Is he a solid committment again?

How "while back" was that? As recently as mid-February, he was saying how he was trying to talk Cory Joseph into coming to Texas with him and Thompson.

so far as i've read, kabongo was solid. the player he was trying to convince to go to texas, along with him, was michael gilchrist of st. patrick's in new jersey. don't think gilchrist took him too seriously, though, lest it lead anyone towards false hope.

Well according to ESPN, Gilchrist is considering UT. Not sure why that is, because I've never seen anything else that supports their claim.
