Palm Springs Restaurants

Headed to Palm Springs/Palm Desert the 2nd week of Jan. Need 4-5 good restaurants for lunch dinner etc....

staying at the JW in Palm Desert.

Chop House on the main drive (Palm Canyon, I think?) is good - get a spot on the patio overlooking the street.

The Blue Coyote (Mexican) on Palm Canyon is good with lots of outdoor dining. A good place for lunch is Tyler's burgers on Indian Canyoon Drive. Great burgers, fries onion rings and cole slaw.

A bit further down highway 111 in Rancho Mirage is a complex called the River. We ate at Babe's BBQ there. Big portions and good micro-brews. There are lots of other dining options there as well.

Arnold Palmer's is alright, generally pretty good scenery.
