It's like a proposed toll road. Why ***** about something you're not paying for?

I'd rather UT make money off this than raising season ticket prices.

I think it is brilliant, all those lots that people squat in, hell yea!!

After many years of setting up and tearing down tailgates, one can know subcontract it out!!!!!

Brilliant!!!!

Most of the lots are going away near campus and hundreds of tailgating crews will lose their spot all around the campus area, not just on it. As the Medical School goes up and construction continues (some parking lots/areas have been taken out already) the take away will continue.

I was wondering just what the University would do, if anything, and now I know. Brilliant move by them and they are once again showing why it is they make the most money in the country at this.

A long way form tailgating for free under the big pecan trees behind Louies on San Jacinto. Good times.

I took the survey and let them know what they could do with their tailgating idea and costs.

I would love to see all of the comments people are leaving. That may be as big a mistake as the "ask Jameis" thing on that Twitter doomaflotchy.

If you don't want scary answers, don't ask scary questions.

No, it's called taking the fun out of tailgating and making what should be a gameday occasion for small groups of Longhorn fans or large into snobby, elitist gatherings.

I know that, Taps, but since you're "in the know" maybe you can tell us if regular folks will be able to tg on campus as they have done for decades without being extorted into buying one of these ridiculously costly pkgs? If not, with all the former tg sites lost to construction, there's going to be a lot of unused campus space on gamedays.

Oh I've got my place with regular and real, longtime fans, not the corporate types.

You just keep on pushing that company moneymaking line.

We are hardworking people, not rich, not snobby been tailgating almost 25 years now, not corporate sponsored just tired of setting up and tearing down the tailgate worried about who stays behind and watches our stuff.......we started in a lot that is now a huge parking garage, moved to a parking garage, first ones to tailgate next to the Tennis Center in that park, then subcontracted out another place that is indoors and outdoors close to the stadium. 40 people donate about $100 each and it covers everything.

Just because you are not smart enough to use your college education to streamline tailgating, don't ***** and complain to the rest of us.....move over for progress the MONEY Train is coming through!!!!!! HOOT HOOT!!!!!
