The thread on spain has gotten me in the mood for some paella. Does anyone have any recommendations on restaurants that serve paella in dallas?

Yeah, I really like the atmosphere at Cafe Madrid, but the food has kind of gone downhill. In the same area, though, there is Sangria, which is really good. I haven't actually tried the paella, but everything I've had there is fantastic. It's just south of Knox on Cole.

Check out Rouge on Lovers (next to Time Out Tavern). Cool space. I am not sure if this the original chef that got the restaurant 4 stars, but I ate there about months ago and it was very good. The Paella was excellent.

I had paella at Rouge last night after a google search. It was pretty good. Nothing spectacular. I probably won't order it again since the quality was decent but the portion size was small. It certainly wasn't enough to feed two people.

The search continues.

I was at Sangia on Friday night and the Paella was the special. I didn't have it but it looked excellent.

The tapas there are better than Cafe Madrid or Hola.

Sorry to lead you astray. Keep us posted. Has anyone tried De Tapas in the shoping center at Belt Line and the Tollway? I was there once for just sangra (very good) and an expensive plate of serrano and manchego. Could be worth a shot.

Don't worry. I found Rouge using a google search the night before your post and went to check it out. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. The interior there is very nice.

I'll continue the search and report back.
