Pacquiao vs. De la Hoya

Strength vs Speed match up. Question is how much strength will De la Hoya lose cutting weight and will he be able to catch the original PacMan. De la Hoya needs to look for a KO with that left hook before the 7th round otherwise he seems to get tired and if behind in the cards will abandon the jab and chase. Other question is if De la Hoya is over the hill, I cant see him fighting much longer regardless the outcome.

I don't think PacMan can KO De la Hoya but think he can win a clear decision using his speed. He is an aggressive fighter that likes to tangle it up, he should stay away from the left hook and try for the decision.

Tough call, I have to go with my homeboy De La Hoya to KO packman in 7.

Any suggestions on the best place to watch this in Austin?

Agree with your assessment. Outside of the Hopkins fight when De La Hoya when, I think, Oscar gave up too much weight differential, he's been a gamer. I think Oscar wants this fight bad, and will use his size advantage to KO Manny.
 
I think Pacquiao is going to make quick, quick work of De la Hoya. One last big paycheck for Oscar.
 
I think De La Hoya's figured out how to get people back into boxing. The HBO show 24/7 really draws you into the upcoming fight. Now that I've watched it, I've already invested too much into it without not watching the live fight. I'll be buying it.

Manny's going to TKO the Golden Boy.
 
Watching these guys train, I never knew how much noise they make throwing punches. They both scream every jab.

Plus I think you have to always give the fight to the guy that travels to Vegas in a bus, over the guy that flies in a G2 with a suit on. I put my money on the "working class" guy.

De la Hoya looked like he was over the hill and that the loss in weight affected him severely. PacMan was fast, really really fast and beat DLH's *** for 8 rounds.

PacMan punched DLH at will, DLH would come forward and get hit easy then PM would move away, fast.. DLH really got jacked up in the 7th where PM gave him at least 4 hard shots in a row. Basically PacMan made DLH quit.

I would hope and pray the boxing gods now give us PacMan vs Mayweather.

embarrassing effort by DLH. Pac dominated every facet of the fight and made him look old and slow.

that was tough to watch
 
DLH could not have looked worse in that fight. I thought Pacman could win, but I never expected that. Sad.
 
It was funny when they showed up at the same track at the same time. DLH shouldn't have fired Roach. Roach likely told Pac everything about DLH.
