I don't mess with p2p cause of the virus problem. Is there a safeway to fileshare and not get 10,000 infected files?

A good anti-virus program. I know it has saved my neck a few times back when I used to download any and everything.

Just be smart about what you download, don't download anything thats like 45kb. If you're looking for a song, obviously the 45kb file is not going to be it. You can also use IRC, but it's a little more complicated. I use Limewire and just be smart about what to download.
