My KaZaa2++ got compromised. It worked really well and my spyware software picked up what little stuff I got with it. But finally I had to eliminate it. Now I find it has been done away with, probably because of the litigation, etc. What is the most popular replacement? I was going to download Grokster but the reports were awful, too much spyware, etc.

So what is the most consumer friendly download software?

the edonkey network is the best p2p i've ever used.. its got a bit of a learning curve to get it working smoothly though.

just started on emule when i could not find a file anywhere else on the net. worked ok and i got the file.

I am just leary as hell when it comes to using these things.

Try to get on the Razorback server.. they usually have around 500K users on.

the problem with any user-friendly p2p software is that it'll eventually get too popular for its own good and come under the RIAA's laser beam.
